Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Human Resources Specialist to join our team! The Human Resources Assistant plays a major part in ensuring the smooth functioning of different HR operations. HR assistant responsibilities include assisting in administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations and contributing to the overall success of the Company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides day-to-day support for employees by listening to their concerns and offering solutions.
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, onboarding processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR Manager.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation and onboarding experience.
- Assists HR Manager on employee terminations and supports employees on exit process from the Company.
- Provides administrative support related to performance management, staff changes, and communications.
- Develops and organizes presentations, training sessions, and seminars.
- Produces and distributes HR documentation and communication.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files and documentation.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Assists with planning and execution of events such as meetings and employee recognition events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and related business tools.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years related administrative experience.
- Knowledge of HR functions, trends, and best practices.
- Basic understanding of UAE labor law and employment equity regulations.
- Proven experience as a staff assistant, human resources assistant, or administrative assistant position.
- Professional certification or diploma, such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
