Position Purpose:

The People Operations Specialist plays a foundational role in TAIT's People department, ensuring the clear and structured circulation of information within the department. They minimise risk to the business by keeping track of compliance, conducting gap analyses in process and procedures, formulating policy recommendations, and implementing best practices. The People Operations Specialist is responsible for fostering and cultivating a safe, equitable and agile environment for the department and for all TAIT employees.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as a People Team point of contact for UAE and KSA employees.
2. Lead and support the organisation with local team-building events and initiatives.
3. Maintain employee files, resolving issues promptly.
4. Ensure compliance with local labour regulations by liaising with the Government Relations Officer to ensure the Labour and Immigration procedures for the UAE and KSA are correctly followed.
5. Ensure timely input of UAE and KSA payroll for review with PBP and Finance.
6. Maintain employee annual leave records, ensuring applicable local laws and regulations are followed.
7. Support the Talent Acquisition Team by developing job descriptions.
8. Ensure regular communication with Freelancers, Staffing Manager and Operations Team.
9. Conduct effective onboarding of new employees to ensure a local/global perspective.
10. Provide visibility to the PBP regarding HR issues that arise and proactively suggest solutions.
