Job description

Our client is a premier auction house in the United Arab Emirates, specializing in the sale of pre-owned and salvaged vehicles. They are seeking an HR Manager for their Sharjah office.

Looking for an experienced HR Manager with 10 to 15 years of experience in human resources, preferably in the Automotive or Auction industry and who can adeptly manage HR functions across 14 individual departments while leading a team of 8 HR staff members.

Experience: 10+ years

UAE driving license: Mandatory

Working days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
  2. Advise senior management on HR-related matters and organizational development.

Talent Acquisition & Management:

  1. Oversee the recruitment process to attract and retain high-caliber talent.
  2. Ensure effective onboarding and integration for new hires.

Performance Management:

  1. Lead the performance appraisal process and promote employee development.
  2. Provide guidance on performance management best practices.

Employee Relations:

  1. Cultivate a positive work environment through engagement and communication.
  2. Handle employee grievances and facilitate conflict resolution discreetly.

Compliance & Policies:

  1. Ensure adherence to UAE labor laws and regulations.
  2. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.

Training & Development:

  1. Identify training needs and implement relevant development programs.
  2. Support initiatives aimed at leadership development and succession planning.

HR Metrics & Reporting:

  1. Analyze HR metrics to support informed decision-making.
  2. Prepare confidential reports for the Chairman and senior management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. 10 to 15 years of HR experience with strong expertise in talent management and employee relations.
  3. Proven track record of managing HR teams and maintaining confidentiality.
  4. In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
