Job description

As the HR Manager, he/she will be a key driver of the organization's Human Resources functions in Dubai and also overseeing HR matters in Abu Dhabi. He/She plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment. This role needs to leverage one's expertise in HR best practices to lead initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent. With a focus on strategic HR Management, the HR Manager will collaborate with leadership to align Human Resources strategies with organizational goals.
Responsible to/Report to: Head of Human Resources & Administration
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
  2. Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  3. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Group HR to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  4. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  5. Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates.
  6. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  7. Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries, concerns, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  8. Implement and oversee performance management processes including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  9. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
  10. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  11. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.
  12. Implement and execute the company’s policies and procedures.
  13. Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
  14. Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  15. Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  16. Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
  17. Generate/produce HR reports for Management.
  18. Any other HR matters assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management / Industrial Relations / Business Administration or similar disciplines.
  • 10 years of experience in the HR industry in a similar role and capacity.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English and local languages.
  • Proficient in Google Docs & MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
  • Able to cope in a high-intensity and fast-paced work environment.
  • Candidates from shared service or MNCs background preferred.
