Responsibilities:
- Welcome New Team Members: Make new joiners feel right at home by coordinating onboarding activities, providing all the tools they need, and setting up smooth administrative processes.
- Payroll Support: Work with our finance team to ensure everyone gets their paycheck on time, handling any queries with efficiency.
- Legal Compliance: Keep us in check with UK and UAE labor laws, ensuring we maintain a fair and compliant workplace.
- Administrative Support: Be the go-to person for the operations team, helping with subsidy management, office support, and handling employee benefits and final settlements.
- Policy Development: Help create and implement HR policies that promote fairness, transparency, and well-being for all our team members.
- Employee Engagement: Organize fun team-building activities, wellness programs, and other initiatives to keep the team spirit high and everyone feeling connected.
- Records Management: Keep our employee records accurate and confidential, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Support and Query Resolution: Be the friendly face (or voice) for HR-related queries, providing timely and helpful responses.
- Process Improvement: Always look for ways to make our HR processes more efficient and effective, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Strategic Projects: Dive into exciting HR projects like implementing new HR tools and automating processes to enhance our overall HR service delivery.
- Timely Assistance: Ensure quick and accurate responses to administrative and departmental support requests, like providing salary certificates and other necessary documentation.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in HR operations.
- HR Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR principles and practices with experience handling multiple priorities.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- Startup Experience: Proven track record in startup or fast-paced environments.
- HR Tools Management: Experience managing HR tools (e.g., Greenhouse, Hibob).
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Leadership Partnership: Ability to effectively partner with leadership for smooth processes and operations.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Mindset: Growth mindset and initiative with a positive, collaborative spirit.
- Analytical Skills: Experience in analyzing data and generating insights for HR recommendations.
- Labor Law Knowledge: Knowledge of UK labor laws.
