Job description
As Human Resources Director, you will work with Regional Business Leaders, Regional Business Partners and peers from other regions on a strategy that supports the business needs regarding career progression and talent development. You will ensure these regional programs are developed, deployed and followed up in the region. In consultation with key business leaders in the area, translate the global framework into a comprehensive strategy to support the learning and people development needs of the businesses.
Execute Corporate and Regional talent management, leadership and professional development within the framework provided by Corporate, localising and repurposing content and delivery methods to meet regional/country talent management goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret results of assessment tools and facilitate large group/ individual post-assessment discussions.
Align training development and delivery with a talent management program to support employee development needs of employees.
Develop and deliver regional learning contents (e.g. delegation, presentation skills, workload management, performance management, culture) that are aligned with organizational needs and the Leadership Competency Framework.
Measure the effectiveness of training programs by examining learners’ satisfaction levels, competence, job performance and results in business.
Demonstrate guidance and support to the senior leadership population and their teams by creating best practice standards across this business area.
Manage and continually develop your team of HR business partners, often operating on a remote basis.
Be an active member of the HR Leadership team and the business areas Senior Management Team.
Provide both tactical and strategic human resource direction to senior leadership teams within a Business Services environment.
Plan and direct human resource activities by creating and delivering the people plan for a significant employee population.
Partner with leadership teams to assist an organisation in achieving its business objectives.
Initiate and develop processes and services to support business strategies, delivering these through your HR team.
Operate at an Executive level in large, matrix-unionised environments.
