The role holder is responsible for serving as an HR partner to the corporate business unit, providing guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures, managing talent initiatives and for assisting with general HR administrative support such as query resolution and grievance management.
Responsibilities
Executes HR strategies for the designated Business Unit by implementing policies and procedures to enhance employee satisfaction and deliver high-quality HR services.
Oversees the HR budget, ensuring workforce requirements and employee programs are effectively managed within the allocated annual budget.
Manages recruitment processes, including resume shortlisting, interview facilitation, and coordination with the HR talent acquisition team to ensure seamless hiring workflows.
Implements performance management processes in alignment with corporate standards, ensuring assessments and reviews are conducted transparently and fairly.
Supports the annual salary review process, ensuring compensation adjustments align with corporate pay policies and guidelines.
Plans and facilitates training programs based on identified training needs and employee development goals.
Drives employee engagement initiatives, organizes departmental events, and supports employee welfare activities in collaboration with corporate HR.
Communicates and enforces HR policies, provides guidance on employee queries, and mediates workplace issues when required.
Oversees the employee offboarding process, including coordination with managers on terminations, documentation management, and conducting exit interviews.
Addresses and resolves escalated employee grievances, workplace concerns, and complaints while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Responds to employee inquiries related to HR policies, official documentation, career growth opportunities, and personal concerns.
Contributes to the development and improvement of HR policies, processes, and systems to ensure alignment with best practices in human resources management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Experience in managing recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Proficiency in HR software and tools.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
