HR Partner – Corporate Business Unit

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Partner to join our corporate business unit. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, supporting employee development, and ensuring a seamless delivery of HR services. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented individual who is passionate about fostering a positive work environment while maintaining compliance with HR policies and regulations as well as excellent stakeholders management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy Execution: Implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to drive employee satisfaction and deliver high-quality HR services tailored to the business unit's needs.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage the HR budget, ensuring workforce requirements and employee programs are delivered effectively within allocated resources.
  • Performance Management: Lead performance appraisal processes, ensuring fair and transparent evaluations aligned with corporate standards.
  • Compensation Review: Support the annual salary review process to ensure pay adjustments align with corporate guidelines.
  • Training & Development: Plan and deliver training programs that address skill gaps and support employee growth.
  • Employee Engagement: Drive engagement initiatives, coordinate events, and support employee welfare activities in partnership with corporate HR.
  • Policy Guidance: Act as a key resource for HR policies, offering guidance to employees and resolving workplace issues effectively.
  • Offboarding Management: Oversee the off-boarding process, including termination coordination, documentation, and exit interviews.
  • Grievance Resolution: Address escalated grievances and workplace concerns in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Employee Support: Respond to queries regarding policies, career development, and personal concerns while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of HR policies, systems, and processes to align with best practices and business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR generalist or equivalent role.
  • At least 3 years of HR experience in the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience in performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
