Job description

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources field. They should be comfortable onboarding new candidates and collecting necessary background information as well as assisting employees while at work. This candidate should work closely with management in order to provide training for employees and establish ways to increase employee engagement.

Organizational Development:

Organization Structure Updates:

  1. Collaborate with clients to provide updated organizational structures and map employees accordingly.
  2. Grant the approval and communicate structural changes to employees.
  3. Coordinate with client Management to review and approve job descriptions created or modified based on organizational needs.

Pay Scale Updates:

  1. Work with client Management to define the scope and structure of pay scale updates.
  2. Coordinate with third party or client management to provide market data for benchmarked pay scales.
  3. Review and arrange for management approval for the proposed pay scale strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Talent Acquisition & On-boarding:

  1. Coordinate with Management to approve hiring plans and requisitions in collaboration with the team.
  2. Review and get management approval on job descriptions for new and existing roles.
  3. Finalize candidate selections, arrange to approve offers, and oversee onboarding processes.
  4. Ensure smooth integration of new hires by managing internal onboarding logistics (desk setup, IT access, etc.).

Employee Services, Data Management and Payroll:

  1. Provide the details related to master data and organizational changes.
  2. Coordinate with management to approve annual merit increases, bonuses, and role-related changes (e.g., promotions, title changes).
  3. Collaborate with the team to administer leave balances, carryover, and encashment processes.
  4. Notify contract renewal cases.
  5. Manage budget transfer cases and resolve shortage of budget cases.

Health & Life Insurance Administration:

  1. Notify policy changes impacting benefits.
  2. Coordinate with management to approve enrollment lists and renewal documents for health and life insurance.
  3. Support employees with escalations and manage vendor communications.

Exit Management:

  1. Coordinate with Management to accept and process resignation approvals.
  2. Conduct exit interviews.
  3. Review exit documentation, including clearance forms and employee exit surveys.
  4. Review and coordinate with management to approve end-of-service benefits (EOSB) calculations and final settlements.

Reporting & Analytics:

  1. Define and monitor departmental objectives, KPIs, and progress.
  2. Coordinate with Audit to close all queries.

Employee Relations:

  1. Handle employee grievances, conflicts, or disciplinary action.
  2. Identify the cases required and arrange the meeting and agenda accordingly.
  3. Conduct meetings and provide the approved minutes of meetings (MOM) for action.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. 3 - 5 years of experience in HRBP or related field
  3. Strong organization, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  4. Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
  5. Proficient in ERP experience - Oracle (DOF experience)
