HSEQ Officer

Member of a Recognized Health Institute (i.e. IOSH, RIPH, etc.)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The HHSEQ Officer shall perform the following responsibilities including but not limited to:

1. Assisting HSEQ Manager in the day to day implementation of the HSEQ MS
2. Attending Site Safety Committee meetings on a regular basis
3. Developing and implementing emergency response plans
4. Communicating with management and employees on HSEQ matters
5. Assisting in the review of workplace safety performance
6. Assisting in the investigation of accidents and near miss reports
7. Demonstrating a practical commitment to the HSEQ MS and encouraging the participation of all employees
8. Assisting the HSE & Quality Manager during the HAZOP studies & Risk Assessments on existing and new operational activities
9. Supervising and checking all Safety and Work practices at the site
10. Planning and conducting planned as well as unplanned emergency exercises
11. Maintaining the HSEQ Management System to a level that fulfills the Policy and Objectives of AlMansoori

SKILLS AND COMPETENCY

Qualified candidates should possess the following skills and competencies:

1. Must be proficient in the English language
2. Must have Basic Computer Skills
3. Possess excellent Quality Control, Safety and Handling Skills
