HSE Supervisor

The HSE Supervisor is responsible for the design, implementation, communication, and coordination of all environmental, health, and safety programs for the assigned work location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure that the HSE objectives are met.
• Provide support to Project and Operations team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, and environmental issues.
• Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance onshore and offshore and perform regular HSE audits in the areas of business and operations.
• Implement and ensure adherence to the HSE policies and procedures International Standards, and Agthia Standards.
• Proactively prevent accidents/incidents.
• Review internal HSE policies and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these assessments.
• Ensure that all hazardous activities are analyzed and required preventive measures are implemented.
• Perform safety surveys and inspections, prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective and preventative measures.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science/safety/engineering, or related technical field, IOSH/NEBOSH/OHSAS & ISO 14001 Lead auditor certifications or equivalent certifications.
• 5-6 years functional experience, out of which 1-2 years should be in an equivalent supervisory position.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and its application.
• Qualified in implementation of EMS and OHSAS.
