HSE SAFETY OFFICER

Responsibilities:

1. Make sure all workers at site have done safety induction and required training.
2. Ensure and monitor the safety requirements are met at construction sites as per approved HSE plan.
3. Coordinate with construction team to maintain a safe work environment and ensure resources are available.
4. Maintain safety observation and incident reporting system and communicate with safety management.
5. Ensure the work permit system and safe work plan are in place before starting work.
6. Conduct daily inspections for construction activities and heavy equipment.
7. Monitor site preparations, barricading, and PPE usage.
8. Support and monitor inspections for tools and equipment, including heavy equipment and cranes.
9. Assist safety supervisors during safety campaigns for heat stress/cold stress and adverse weather conditions.
10. Participate in safety audits and walkthroughs.
11. Monitor site traffic control measures inside the fenced area.
12. Ensure scaffold safety requirements are met and that a certified and competent scaffold team is in place for erection, modification, and dismantling.
13. Prepare all daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
14. Maintain all safety documentation records.
15. Require all NEBOSH & IOSH qualifications and certificates.
16. Assist with on-site tasks to ensure both quality and efficiency.
17. Update activities on WhatsApp group on a daily basis.
18. Assume accountability when the site supervisor is not present.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Nebosh certificates (Required)
