Job Summary

We are seeking a punctual, energetic, and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator & Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in different locations across the UAE, possess strong time management skills, and be capable of working nights and weekends as needed. The role involves operating and maintaining beach cleaner machines, transporting company staff, materials, and equipment to job sites, and ensuring that vehicles are always in top condition. This position also requires physical stamina for lifting and loading heavy objects when needed.

Responsibilities

  1. HSE Standards Implementation:
    Oversee the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and ensure compliance with local regulations at the project site.
    Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions to mitigate risks.
    Develop and deliver HSE training to all site personnel, ensuring that safety practices are adhered to at all times.
  2. Monitoring and Reporting:
    Monitor and report on the site's safety performance, preparing weekly and monthly HSE reports for the project management team.
    Assist in incident investigations and ensure proper documentation, analysis, and reporting of accidents or near misses.
    Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans and ensure all site personnel are trained accordingly.
  3. Additional Duties: Equipment and Compliance:
    Ensure that all HSE equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are available, properly maintained, and used correctly on site.
    Participate in regular safety meetings and collaborate with project management to address safety concerns.
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, ensuring site operations comply with these standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE management with at least 1 year on construction or industrial sites.
  3. Relevant HSE certifications are preferred.
  4. Proven experience in implementing HSE policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Knowledge of local safety regulations and international safety standards.
  6. Strong understanding of environmental protection and waste management practices.
  7. Experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  8. Ability to use HSE management software and tools.
  9. First Aid and CPR certified (preferred).
  10. Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional language skills are a plus.
