HSE ENGINEER

We are looking for an HSE Engineer for immediate mobilisation and for a period of 15 months, extendable based on projects requirement. Job location site/ Island (Offshore)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain the HSE Plan and existing HSE Manual.
2. To develop and implement the specific Project HSE Plan for the respective project.
3. To implement, review, update and improve the HSE Management system.
4. To improve HSE awareness amongst the workforces.
5. Promotes safety & quality to all personnel within his organization.
6. To provide Induction for the new employees, issue Safety Alert / Daily Toolbox Talk.
7. To organise the Company Safety Incentive Programme.
8. To conduct Internal audit /second party Audits as per 45001:2018 / ISO 14001:2015 / Monitoring and effective closure of findings.
9. Subcontractor Approval, audits and measuring performance.
10. Maintain evaluation of compliance and update of Legal and other requirements related to Health, Safety & Environment.
11. Internal Audits (Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and closeout as per the schedule).
12. HSE Internal Trainings - basic firefighting training, first aid, etc. And conduct regular drills as stipulated in the drill plan.
13. To lead Emergency Response Team and assist in the operation.
14. Safety Briefing / Induction for visitors.
15. To conduct Risk Assessment for the different projects.
16. To take part in the incident investigations and HSE studies like HZAOP, HAZID, SAFOPS etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Engineering (IOSH / NEBOSH / ISO 45001 & 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor).
2. Minimum 10 years of experience as HSE Engineer in the UAE.
