HS IB/DP Art Teacher - Aug 2025

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic High School Art Teacher experienced in teaching IB DP to join our dedicated team in August 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about Art education and is eager to contribute to the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and interactive Art lessons to high school students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
2. Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for Art and foster critical thinking skills.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
4. Ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
5. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
6. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
7. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

Additional Requirements:

1. A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent specialism in Art.
2. Proven experience teaching Art at the high school level, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
3. Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and hands-on Art education.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
5. Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
6. A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
