Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HRBP who has a strong background in either contracting, construction, factories, or blue-collar industries. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with company goals and objectives. You will serve as a trusted partner to senior management, focusing on talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and fostering a positive work culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders to understand the organization's goals and objectives, advising them on HR-related matters to drive business outcomes.

Talent Management

  • Oversee talent acquisition, retention strategies, and workforce planning to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent, particularly in the contracting/consulting sectors.

Employee Relations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing and resolving HR-related issues, and promoting a positive employee experience.

Performance Management

  • Assist in the design and implementation of performance management processes, ensuring that performance reviews, feedback, and development plans are carried out effectively.

Learning & Development

  • Collaborate with management to assess training needs, oversee development programs, and promote continuous learning and growth within the team.

Organizational Development

  • Implement organizational change initiatives, support leadership development programs, and help enhance organizational effectiveness.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure the company adheres to labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices, specifically in relation to the local laws of the region.

Employee Engagement

  • Develop initiatives to increase employee engagement and foster a positive and productive work environment.

Data-Driven Decisions

  • Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to drive decisions and create strategies for improving employee performance and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as an HRBP in contracting, construction, factories, or blue-collar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices within the contracting, construction, factories, or blue-collar industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with leadership and employees at all levels.
  • Familiarity with HR software and HRIS systems.
  • Proactive in identifying HR trends and challenges and implementing solutions to address them.
