Job Description

  • Partner with senior management to develop and advocate a dynamic HR strategy framework that will deliver the most benefits to the business, including leadership/management development and team effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement, reward and recognition, and change management to support the culture and key business needs.
  • Work closely in developing HR strategies suitable for branches in line with overall company objectives and developing and executing company-wide HR programs and practices (recruitment & selection, onboarding, compensation & benefits, SAP, performance management, succession plans, training & development plans).
  • Lead the organizational development project, as per the directives and in alignment to maintain check on the organizational evolution and set the plan that would influence structures and recruitment and development.
  • Devise and conduct implementation plans of all HR initiatives for branches, and execute all HR programs in support of the business teams, with emphasis on recruiting, policies & procedures cascade performance management, coaching managers & employee relations.
  • Provide HR support to diverse workforce in multiple locations and sister concerns.
  • Work closely with the HO HR team to provide back-up and support as well as participate in program development.
  • Act as a main interface between department heads and the HR to identify the scope of required needs and support.
  • Orient and train employees on the HR policies and procedures.
  • Review and update/develop HR forms and work with IT for an aim for full automation to maximize efficiencies operations.
  • Update and control the evolution of charts and maintain the historical progress for later reference.
  • Manage and monitor the implementation plans for policies and procedures to ensure that the affiliate’s goals/objectives are met and the work environment & culture are well preserved.
  • Conduct the employee orientation and induction programs as per company policy.
  • Assist in opening of bank account for new joiners.
  • Conduct probation evaluation and take action based on line managers/Management feedback according to UAE labor law.
  • Manage complaints, disputes, and grievances in alignment with the Management.
  • Conduct disciplinary action as per the company policy.
  • Maintain the set company’s talent management and succession planning system to ensure adequate supply of internal talent within the company.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the employee's safety, welfare, wellness & health policy.
  • Control the visa for new hires, renewal of existing employee visas, and immigration-related issues.
  • Manage the entire process for off-boarding of employees.
  • Responsible for managing the payroll & end of service benefits.
  • Assist with the preparation, balancing, and input of time sheets and ability to understand relevant award conditions, offers agreement, policies, and legislative requirements.
  • To assist, as required with answering payroll queries.
  • Maintenance and review of employee entitlements including sick leave, annual leave, accrued days off, and long service leave records.
  • Monthly payroll reporting and analysis including overtime, sick leave, and annual leave.
  • Manages all administrative aspects of leave and employees compensation claims.
  • Updating all employee details in the SAP for UAE & GCC.
  • Manage a range of activities related to employment compliance.
  • Employee Service & Counselling.
  • Assist in special HR projects when and as required.
  • To ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Support in monitoring the HR budgets and projects.
  • Developing and issuing HR reports requested by senior management as required.
  • Represent the company with third parties i.e. HR consultancies, etc.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • BSc/MSc in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as an HR Specialist
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving abilities
