About the role:

The HR Specialist will manage daily HR operations across the UAE and other locations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws. Key responsibilities include overseeing the employee lifecycle including visa/work permit applications, maintaining HR policies, and keeping employee records up to date.

Responsibilities:

  1. Actively participate in and oversee the day-to-day HR operations activities for UAE and other locations as and when required, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and industry best practices.
  2. Ensure smooth processes and effective communication across all departments.
  3. Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including visa applications and work permits, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
  4. Ensure payroll team is kept updated on any changes, assisting where necessary.
  5. Maintain HR policies and procedures that align with our company's goals and values as well as with local requirements.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  7. Assist with benefit administration and compliance with company benefit policies.
  8. Stay updated on HR industry trends and changes in labor laws to ensure compliance and be a source of guidance to the HR team and Management.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years of previous experience in similar HR related roles.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  3. Proficiency in written and spoken English; Arabic language is an advantage.
  4. Demonstrable up-to-date knowledge of UAE labour legislation and HR best practices.
  5. Solid experience with MS Office, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and social skills.
  7. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
