Position Overview

The HR & Recruitment Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the end-to-end HR function, with a strong focus on talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations. This role ensures seamless hiring processes, HR compliance, and initiatives that foster employee engagement, retention, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with a strong understanding of HR best practices, UAE labor laws, and recruitment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for junior and mid-level roles, ensuring a structured, efficient, and timely hiring experience.
  • Conduct first-level screening to assess candidate suitability based on job requirements.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job specifications and align talent strategies with business needs.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, technical assessments, and feedback collection.
  • Support employer branding initiatives to enhance company reputation and attract high-caliber talent.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles, ensuring proactive sourcing and workforce planning.

HR Operations & Employee Services

  • Maintain and update HR systems, employee records, and personnel files (both digital and hard copy) to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare and process HR-related documentation, including offer letters, contracts, amendments, and termination notices.
  • Assist in payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR compliance activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures, ensuring timely resolution.

Onboarding & Employee Engagement

  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for new hires.
  • Coordinate visa processing for expatriate employees in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Support the Emiratisation program, facilitating the hiring and onboarding of UAE nationals.
  • Ensure timely enrolment of employees into medical insurance, pension schemes, and other benefits programs.
  • Organize and facilitate training, workshops, and employee development initiatives to drive continuous learning.
  • Assist in the execution of employee engagement programs to enhance workplace culture and morale.

HR Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain and analyze key HR metrics, including recruitment performance, employee turnover, and workforce diversity.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay updated on HR regulatory changes and ensure policies remain in line with legal requirements.

Key Competencies & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and HR operations
  • Ability to handle multiple HR functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in HRMS software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and MS Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with employees and stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle employee concerns with professionalism and confidentiality
