About the Team
The HR Operations team endeavours to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the whole employee lifecycle. We are dedicated to leading with care and have empathy in mind. We strive to develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We aspire to ensure employees feel heard and that they are given the appropriate resources and support needed to be effective and efficient during their careers.

Responsibilities

  1. First point of contact for any employee queries. Support employees and improve employee experience by providing end-to-end HR solutions to solve any issues while building good and harmonious employee relations.
  2. Ensure legal compliance by managing and implementing applicable human resource requirements for the UAE, with the potential of extended remit to additional countries within METAP.
  3. Manage employment contracts.
  4. Design and recommend enhancements, improvements and simplifications to existing HR processes and procedures.
  5. Draft new HR policies as needed and enhance existing policies.
  6. Support employee life cycle management processes such as on-boarding management, HR orientation for new hires, relocation, immigration, termination, job status changes, personal data changes, internal transfers, leave management & benefit operations including relevant documentation and employee file management in accordance to legislation.
  7. Support and contribute to team initiatives focused on continuous improvement and optimization of internal processes and projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Fluency in Arabic language is required as the role requires frequent communication with the Arab market.
  2. Relevant training / degree and experience within People Operations / Human Resources.
  3. Excellent knowledge of UAE employment legislation / compliance laws and market practices and favourably additional knowledge of other countries.
  4. Experience with employee lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, performance cycles, leaves of absence and off-boarding) and providing end to end HR solutions.
  5. Analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics.

  1. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  2. Humility, flexibility, and good interpersonal & customer facing skills.
