Job description

The HR Officer and PRO support various HR functions to ensure the HR department operates effectively. This includes assisting with employee and company legal documentation, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training and development, benefits administration, and performance management. The HR Officer and PRO help the HR department maintain a high-quality workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Job postings, application screening, interview coordination, and reference checks.
  • Support new employee onboarding, including preparing orientation materials and conducting sessions.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee inquiries and assist in resolving workplace issues.
  • Help develop and implement employee engagement activities.

PRO & Legal:

  • Managing legal documentation for employees and the company by processing UAE Ministry of Labour, immigration, and other government-related tasks.
  • New visa Application and Visa Renewal Processes, Health cards, Trade License renewals & updating of Trade Licenses in immigration and MOHRE, etc.
  • Be up-to-date about all government digital services updates.
  • Should work on Tasheel,Smart Channels / GDRFA immigration system and visa application forms.
  • Assisting the reporting Manager & team for the completion of other related tasks.
  • Applying for Quota for all groups of companies.
  • Typing Labor job offers - labor contracts, visa & change status, Tawjeeh training- medical - Emirates ID- Visa stamping, health cards, visa & labor card cancellations, issuing part-time/temporary/relative sponsored/ other residence visa holders work permits, processing outside country cancellations /absconding/labor complaints.
  • Assisting in enrolling employees in the company insurance policy
  • Check and maintain expiration for Visa and Labor Contracts. (make sure to get approvals from direct managers & CEO for renewal)
  • Assigning works and following up with outsourcing PRO (if needed).

Compliance and Policy Management:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist in developing and communicating HR policies.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
  • Maintain training records and assist in evaluating program effectiveness.

HR Administrative Support:

  • Prepare and submit monthly payroll documents from all branches to Finance.
  • Manage company GPSSA system.
  • Maintain and update HR databases and systems.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations.
  • Assist in organizing HR events and meetings.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
