HR Intern
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and shortlisting candidates.
- Conduct initial screening of resumes and coordinate with hiring managers for interviews.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of offer letters, contracts, and induction training.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Assist in the preparation of payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain and update employee attendance, leave records, and absences.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, end-of-service benefits, and other perks.
Performance Management:
- Assist in managing the performance review process, including coordinating performance appraisals and feedback sessions.
- Help track employee goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with company objectives.
Training & Development:
- Assist in coordinating training sessions and workshops based on performance review feedback.
- Maintain training records and ensure employees are enrolled in required courses.
- Help identify skill gaps and support the creation of personal development plans.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees’ inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Assist in resolving employee grievances and work closely with senior HR personnel to maintain a positive workplace environment.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, events, and welfare programs.
HR Projects & General Administration:
- Assist in various HR-related projects and initiatives.
- Maintain HR filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring proper documentation is kept.
- Support the HR team with any other administrative tasks as needed.
HR Documentation & Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of HR documents, such as contracts, performance evaluations, and employee handbooks.
- Prepare and assist in generating regular HR reports (attendance, performance, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and internal HR policies.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in HR or a related administrative role.
- Knowledge of UAE labour laws and HR best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
