The Role Our Multinational Design & Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well-experienced HR generalist to join their team in Dubai, UAE. Successful candidates will have proven Office HR and Admin experience coupled with experience in general HR duties. Successful candidates must have worked in a design consultancy company and environment previously. This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 36 Month Contract hire as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.
Responsibilities:
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business partners by being a trusted advisor and partner.
Advising and working with the business in order to understand and proactively address HR issues such as employee relations including investigations, complaints, and enquiries.
Supporting senior management in retention and succession planning.
Advising and counselling the Abu Dhabi business on the interpretation of policies and procedures.
Maintaining close contact with the Project Leaders by attending regular HR visits.
Evaluating the effectiveness of current HR programmes and policies thereafter recommending and developing alternatives or enhancements in order to ensure HR best practice is maintained.
Advising on local employment legislation.
Performing administrative duties such as maintaining employee databases and sorting emails for the HR department.
Maintaining proper records of employee attendance and leave to assist with payroll duties.
Assisting the HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring, and salary administration.
Submitting online job postings, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling job interviews.
Coordinating orientation and training sessions for new employees.
Serving as a point of contact providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries.
Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR department including meetings and events.
Ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws.
Requirements:
Post graduate training in Human Resources or Management preferred.
Minimum 5-7 years experience in Human Resources.
Understanding of Executive Recruiting practices, succession planning, training and development resources both internally and externally.
Proven track record of implementing HR strategy.
Creating & executing talent strategies that drive business results.
Ability to influence and drive change management initiatives required.
