Job description

The HR Director is responsible for developing and implementing the HR strategy across the Group. This role involves overseeing the HR functions, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy, and driving organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with the overall business objectives and growth plans of the holding company and its subsidiaries.
  2. Provide strategic HR guidance and support to senior management and subsidiaries HR teams.
  3. Oversee talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent across the company and its subsidiaries.
  4. Implement and manage succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  5. Drive organizational design and restructuring efforts to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Lead change management initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  7. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  8. Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across all subsidiaries.
  9. Oversee employee relations and resolve complex HR issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  10. Foster a positive work environment and promote employee well-being and engagement.
  11. Develop and manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent while maintaining internal equity and competitiveness.
  12. Oversee performance management processes, including salary reviews and incentive programs.
  13. Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive data-informed decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  14. Provide regular reports to the executive team on HR performance, key metrics, and strategic outcomes.
  15. Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure high performance and professional development.
  16. Collaborate with the subsidiaries HR leaders to share best practices and ensure alignment with the Group's HR strategy.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD) is preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a senior HR leader, preferably in a corporate holding company or multi-national organization, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Laws, UAE regulations, and HR best practices.
  4. 20 years UAE experience, preferred.

  2. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results.
  3. Experience in managing complex employee relations issues and implementing change management initiatives.
  4. Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and data analytics.
  5. Ability to build relationships and influence others.
  6. Strong ethical and integrity standards.
  7. Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business strategy of the holding group.
