HR Coordinator

Marine Capabilities (Marcap) LLC is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead our technical team and oversee all technical operations related to our marine fleet. The Technical Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and efficiency of our marine services.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the technical department, providing guidance and support to engineers and technical staff.
• Develop, implement, and maintain technical policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee maintenance and repair programs for all vessels to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Conduct regular evaluations and audits of technical operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Manage technical projects from conception to completion, including PMS (Preventive maintenance), drydocks, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Manage audits, reports, and keep higher management updated about progress about ongoing projects in all aspects.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to enhance operational capabilities.
• Provide training and mentorship to technical staff to promote a culture of safety and professional development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 7 years of experience in marine operations, with at least 3 years in a management role

Strong knowledge of marine systems, safety regulations, and industry standards

Proven experience in project management and leadership

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel as required to supervise projects and conduct site visits

Proven 5 years experience in PMS ( proven maintenance System) allowing shipowners and operators to plan, perform and document vessel maintenance at intervals complying with Class and manufacturer requirements.
