HR COORDINATOR - RECRUITMENT
Job Purpose:
The jobholder will support plans for building a strong employer brand and continuous search of talent for junior roles. The incumbent will be accountable for evaluating channels for attraction and sourcing, monitoring performance, and on-time fulfillment of defined positions against the headcount plan.
Key Result Areas:
- Forecasts hiring needs on defined headcount plans, prioritizes request fulfillment, and reports & tracks talent acquisition activities.
- Liaises with Talent Acquisition Specialist to understand the role profile and vacancy requirements in order to match and source potential candidates through various recruitment channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
- Partners with Talent Acquisition Specialist to complete talent acquisition goals and facilitate solutions to overcome challenges.
- Utilizes and develops expertise of Taleo in maintaining all procedures, internal and external candidate searches, selection, and reporting.
- Conducts technical and language-based interviews and tests in an assessment center setting to ensure that the right person is employed.
- Supports the generation of weekly reports and ad-hoc reports and takes corrective actions when KRAs are not met.
- Supports updating documentation, procedures, and training guides to ensure business continuity and process clarity.
- Utilizes a variety of attraction tools such as adverts and referrals to proactively source talent, create pipelines to accommodate current and future headcount needs, and implements employer branding activities to increase brand reach, both internally and externally.
- Supports stakeholders to understand market dynamics and constantly evolves acquisition and selection approaches to meet expectations.
- Shares ideas and information internally and externally to ensure consistency through value-added services.
- Recommends and implements initiatives that enhance the candidate to employee experience and fosters long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
- Participates in setting and achievement of team objectives, seeking ongoing support, direction, and self-development so that results are achieved.
Job Context:
This jobholder operates within the framework of talent acquisition practices but needs to keep up to date with factors that could affect the attraction of candidates, sourcing and assessment tools, as well as selection.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience:
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or HR or equivalent; CIPD is desirable.
Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum 5 years' experience in talent acquisition and supporting the provision of services related to volume recruitment, assessment centers, and selection within a large organization.
Experience managing the end-to-end selection process of junior-level roles, bulk recruitment, and building talent pools through media and informal networks.
Experience in working with suppliers and conducting assessment centers in the UAE. Willingness to travel to regions such as Asia.
Skills:
User competency in ATS systems, Microsoft package, and ERP.
Exposure and ability to use a variety of assessment tools including technical, cognitive, and language tests.
Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
