Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. The HR Assistant will serve as a key point of contact for employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and queries. This role involves handling employee records, assisting in recruitment processes, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in HR functions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring all information is accurate and securely stored.
  2. Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and managing documentation.
  3. Help in onboarding new hires by preparing necessary documents, arranging orientations, and following up on checklists.
  4. Coordinate with departments to schedule training and development activities, and keep training records updated.
  5. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex matters as needed.
  6. Help ensure compliance with internal HR procedures and labor laws by preparing reports and audits as required.
  7. Contribute to the preparation and organization of HR events and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 1 to 3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role.
  3. Familiarity with labor laws, HR practices, and basic recruitment processes.
  4. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management systems.
  7. Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
