Job Purpose:

You will be responsible to assist and support HR departments of Lucy Switchgear FZE and Lucy Middle East in delivering the yearly objectives. You will role report to the HR Business Partner.


Key Accountabilities:

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding: Support in sourcing relevant candidates through in-house portal, explore and identify other sourcing channels, maintain data pool for junior recurring profiles, implement strategies to promote diverse hiring. Review resumes, conduct initial screening, and coordinate interviews with hiring manager. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth transition into the company. Ensure timely and high-quality completion of probation reviews. Verify that system-related processes are executed by the respective line managers.
  2. Data Management: Collect, manage, and analyze HR data to streamline processes and support data-driven decision-making. Maintain and update Oracle data, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. Handle large volumes of data with minimal errors. Consolidation of payroll data, including overtime and working with finance team to ensure accurate and timely running of payroll process.
  3. Report Generation: Generate monthly reports (HR operations reports) for business and other ad hoc reports as required.
  4. HR Policies & Compliance: Assist HRBP in reviewing or designing all HR policies and procedures and ensure updated versions are available on the intranet. Support the HR Business Partner in rolling out any HR initiatives/projects.
  5. Compliance Checks: Periodical check of Compliance and Risk and Opportunities register. Ensure action plans are completed/rolled out within timeframe mentioned in the registers.

Job Context:

Your role will be responsible for managing various aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. Role will be responsible for collecting, managing, and analyzing HR data to help streamline processes and support data-driven decision-making.


Employee Relations:

Assist the HR Business Partner (HRBP) in addressing employee grievances, including documentation and reporting. Participate in employee disciplinary meetings and recommend appropriate actions based on disciplinary guidelines. Provide guidance and coaching to line managers on all matters relating to people management; continuously developing and enhancing line management capability throughout the business.


Employee Engagement:

Drive employee engagement survey, liaise with senior management for completion of action plans.


Performance Management:

Drive the midyear and annual performance reviews process and liaise with senior management on performance review progress. Review completed performance reviews and monitor/action training needs.


Talent Plans:

Assist in preparing talent plans (including succession, retention, development). Support with employee profiling (9 box grid), assist in talent meeting, support all succession planning, and talent development activities. Support with rollout of job grading.


HR Projects:

Support the HR Business Partner in rolling out any HR initiatives/projects.


Miscellaneous:

Any other reasonable and relevant responsibilities assigned from time to time.


Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Graduate / Masters in Human Resources. Certifications in Data Analytics would be an added advantage. Strong working knowledge of UAE local labor law.


Minimum Experience:

Must have minimum 5 years of work experience in HR Department with knowledge of UAE labour laws, and any HRM systems.


Job-Specific Skills:

Excellent English communication skills, Microsoft Office. Advanced user of MS Excel. Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Experience in managing people and working in a team.
