Housekeeping Team Leader

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and maintaining overall efficiency of set standards for the Housekeeping function.

What you will be doing:

• Attend daily briefing with EKH/AEH in Housekeeping.
• Report any sick, irregular guest, and any stranger in housekeeping areas to the Housekeeper or Security Office immediately.
• Ensure proper handover and take over of the incoming and outgoing shifts.
• Report all Lost & Found items to Housekeeping.
• Prepare discrepancy report for the front office.
• Check and follow up on all maintenance reports if the work is incomplete.
• Water and change all flowers as per schedule requirement.
• Inspect housekeeping areas with an eye for detail.
• Be responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, property, and hygiene of housekeeping areas and service areas.
• Oversee the work of attendants and team leaders.
• Handle all service matters to guests in the station.
• Supervise the activities of Housekeeping Area attendants and team leaders.
• Be fully aware of the Rixelence of the day.
• Maintain proper grooming at all times.
• Show full cooperation and respect within the team and other departments.
• Be aware of daily activities and have product knowledge of all hotel facilities.

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a 5* hotel.
• Experience in the GCC and/or Middle East Region is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
