What's the job
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will ensure all team members are trained in the IHG way of Clean and manage the day-to-day team with the support of the Head Housekeeper. We seek someone passionate about creating great guest experiences for this vital role.

A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

1. Handling and assisting in department training and orientation of all new hosts and regular trainings to Housekeeping team members.
2. Demonstrating to Housekeeping team members how to perform each task according to hotel service standards.
3. Maintaining regular communication with other departments to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
4. Monitoring daily arrivals according to occupancy reports in coordination with Laundry and Housekeeping management.
5. Supervising and inspecting the work of Housekeeping team members to ensure high standards of order, hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness, and aesthetic value throughout all service areas.

What We Need From You
The successful candidate must effectively work in a multi-tasking environment, be enthusiastic and positive, and have an excellent guest-handling manner. Requirements include:

1. High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years experience in a similar hotel operational setting. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
2. Technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with various hotel systems (POS, PMS, CRM).
3. Knowledge of IHG Way of Clean and its policies on room allocation.
4. Must meet legal requirements to work in the UAE.
