Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible to ensure services to guests are provided in a friendliest and courteous manner and maintains guest rooms, floor and service areas under his supervision in accordance with the Hotel standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Directs guides and controls Room Attendant to ensure all guest bedrooms, bathrooms and hotel-floor corridors are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and tidiness for safety and comfort for all guests at all times.
• Supervises trains & retrains existing and new staff using the same method to ensure that established cleaning standards are met.
• Is responsible for proper Room Attendant assignments, full accomplishment of rooms, allocations of extra duties to the number of rooms they have, considering necessary changes for Room Attendant sections to cope with sudden check in/out.
• Inspects each room on his assigned floor, whether Vacant, Occupied, Check-out or Temporary OOO as well as corridors, service areas, pantries and Emergency staircase.
• Attends to guest requests and complaints and follows up on loan items to guests, using correct procedures.
• To control and issue stock and take inventory to safeguard against pilferage and shortage.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.

Requirements:

• Work experience in Housekeeping is preferred.
• Must be available in the UAE and able to join immediately.
