Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. They will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high cleaning standards, and coordinating with other departments to meet guest expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

1. Supervising and training housekeeping staff
2. Assigning and prioritizing cleaning tasks
3. Inspecting rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness
4. Developing and implementing cleaning schedules and procedures
5. Ordering cleaning supplies and maintaining inventory
6. Coordinating with other departments to meet guest requirements
7. Handling guest complaints or special requests
8. Conducting regular staff performance evaluations
9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
10. Maintaining budgetary and cost control measures

Minimum Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role
3. Strong leadership and organizational skills
4. Excellent attention to detail
5. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals
