Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you showcase the property from the moment guests arrive, ensuring that they stay in a safe, clean environment. You are responsible for how the hotel shines and sparkles, making sure that all public surfaces and areas are at their best and reporting any issues you find. You also support the hotel in the back of house to ensure that office spaces are safe and clean for all your colleagues.

This important role requires great customer service skills, fitness, cleaning skills, attention to detail, and a genuine care about what you do.

What Will I Be Doing?

  1. Deliver the best quality guest room cleaning services and make sure every guest feels they can relax and enjoy their time with us.
  2. Clean corridors and floor public areas around the guest rooms assigned.
  3. Follow Lost and Found policy for any items left in the area.
  4. Report any safety hazards and violations.
  5. Report any maintenance or repair issues.
  6. Report any lost items from the guest rooms.
  7. Ensure linen is in good condition and placed as per brand standards.
  8. Accountable for the best appearance of the trolley and pantry area, ensuring to keep them clean and tidy at all times.

Requirements

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Can work independently and within a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication Skills in English (Verbal and Written).
  • Hygiene and safety knowledge.
  • Experience: Ideally 1 year of experience within the Hotel Industry.
