Housekeeping Room Attendant

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Report for duty on time
• Sign daily attendance sheet.
• Receive work assignment, key, and supplies from the supervisors.
• Sign key logbook and be responsible for the master key.
• Check all rooms to verify room status every morning.
• Clean rooms and bathrooms, performing any combination of the following duties:
• Vacuum carpet and upholstered furniture, dust and damp wipe furniture, empty ashtrays and waste baskets.
• Make beds, wash sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors.
• Polish brass and metal.
• Replenish bathroom and room supplies.
• Tidy and arrange guest toilet articles on vanity tops neatly.
• Spot clean carpets and upholstery when necessary.
• Keep guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas neat and tidy at all times.
• Check and report any maintenance work required to the supervisors immediately.
• Report damaged or missing items and suspicious behavior of guests to supervisors immediately.
• Inform or remove room service trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridors.
• Inform valet service to collect guests’ clothes for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing services.
• Fill in the room attendant report with the accurate time of entering the guest room.
• Turn in all Lost and Found articles to Housekeeping before off duty.
• Maintain assigned rooms in a clean, safe, and hygienic state at all times.
• Greet guests in a courteous and polite manner at all times.
• Report to housekeeping office of guests who have pets, cooking equipment, and dangerous possessions in the room.
• Coordinate with supervisors if items are missing in assigned areas.
• Open and record the time for rooms requested by engineering in the housekeeping attendant report.
• Attend daily briefings.
• Report to work well-groomed.
• Adhere to strict rules and regulations pertaining to key security.
• Report Do Not Disturb rooms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED1,600.00 per month

Experience:

• Housekeeper: 1 year (Preferred)

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,600.00 per month
