PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. GUEST ROOMS
  2. Enters and prepares rooms for cleaning.
  3. Makes the bed.
  4. Dusts rooms and furniture.
  5. Checks all electrical equipment.
  6. Reports broken equipment to Housekeeping Service.
  7. Cleans the bathroom.
  8. Replenishes bedroom and bathroom supplies.
  9. Checks and secures the room.
  10. Checks mini bar.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Administrative Responsibilities

  1. Performs duties or tasks at the best of his/her ability.
  2. Reports any unusual incidents, guest complaints, lost and found, breakage and losses to the supervisor.
  3. Attends briefing or meeting as requested.
  4. Attends all training requested by the hotel.
  5. To be responsible for cost saving on guest supplies, food supplies, electricity, water, etc.
  6. Follows company’s rules and regulations.

Technical Responsibilities

  1. Reports to work in prescribed uniform and well-groomed.
  2. Reports to the supervisor at the start of the shift to receive necessary instructions.
  3. Performs duties responsively and professionally according to standards and requirements.
  4. Knowledgeable of all work related items such as guest supplies, consumable items to be served to guests, promotional materials, forms and procedures correctly and skillfully.
  5. Equips him/herself with necessary working tools such as pen and others.
  6. Greets guests and colleagues politely.
  7. Listens to guests (paying and colleague) carefully and attentively in order to perform duty effectively.
  8. Be a good sales person at all times and in a good professional manner.
  9. Practices job tasks as well as develop him/herself for new ideas and techniques at all times.
  10. Confirms satisfaction with guests, and informs supervisor or manager immediately in case of guest complaints.

Commercial Responsibilities

  1. Communicates effectively with guests, clients, business partners, and staff.
  2. Be a good sales person to promote the hotel’s image and businesses.
  3. Participates in community projects or activities in order to promote the hotel’s image and cooperation to improve community relationships.

Human Resources Responsibilities

  1. Establishes and maintains good relations with other staff within the department and between other departments.
  2. Provides assistance to co-staff within the department and amongst other departments in performing tasks to foster teamwork and success of the hotel.

RELATIONSHIP

  1. Reports to unit manager or department heads if necessary.
  2. Communicates to guests in delivering product and service.
  3. Relates to co-staff in service and supporting departments in performance of work and service to guests.
  4. Relates to employees of other departments for special functions and activities of the hotel.

Others

  1. Continuous learning through own IDP.
  2. Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  1. At least High school diploma.
  2. No experience is welcome.
  3. Knowledgeable in Housekeeping operation and cleaning methods will be an asset.
  4. Ability to communicate basic English.
  5. Detail-oriented and possess a pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
