Job description

Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor Responsibilities

  1. Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry, as identified by the hotel brand standards.
  2. Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
  3. Provide excellent guest service.
  4. Actively work on availability and release of Rooms for Guest Service along with Floor Housekeeping Supervision.
  5. Manage the controls of the Housekeeping department, such as: frequency of employees, release of master keys, book incidents, input and output of uniforms and linens, among others.
  6. Check daily the guest information in CRM and ensure that the preferences and requests are met on time.
  7. Request flowers for special occasions (marriage, death, maternity, etc.) and provide embroidery for special linen (wedding and pampering).
  8. Control and make monthly Lost and Found and donations.
  9. Check the uniforms and send them for cleaning and/or repair.
  10. Coordinate and control all traffic of documents and people within the department, releasing linen from Laundry daily.
  11. Make daily guest clothing releases for guests that use the laundry service.
  12. Make monthly closing of Laundry expenses and provisions.
  13. Replace Laundry Attendant in case of holidays, days off, or absences.
