Hotel Cleanliness Expert

The Hotel Cleanliness Expert is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel. This role plays a key part in maintaining guest satisfaction by overseeing room cleanliness, public areas, and back-of-house hygiene. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, and a commitment to upholding the hotel's brand standards. Working closely with housekeeping teams, this role ensures a welcoming and sanitary environment for all guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and maintain cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities.
2. Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards.
3. Train housekeeping staff on best cleaning practices, safety measures, and hotel policies.
4. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring proper inventory management.
5. Implement and enforce sanitation guidelines in accordance with health and safety regulations.
6. Coordinate deep-cleaning schedules for rooms, carpets, upholstery, and high-touch surfaces.
7. Address guest complaints and requests related to room cleanliness and hygiene.
8. Ensure the proper use of cleaning equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products.
9. Collaborate with maintenance teams to report and resolve any facility-related issues.
10. Maintain documentation of cleaning procedures and compliance with hotel standards.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning, or a related role.
2. Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, sanitization, and hygiene standards.
3. Ability to train and supervise housekeeping staff effectively.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the hospitality industry.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on guest satisfaction.
7. Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
