Our client, a well respected 4-star hotel group that owns and operates hotels, villas, and residences throughout the UAE, is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or VP Hotel Operations or very experienced regional GM with management experience leading at least a dozen major hotels to lead their expanding business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UAE, with a proven track record of successfully managing multi-unit operations. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader to further establish and grow the company's brand in a rapidly expanding market.

The CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors and Owners and will be a key member of the senior leadership team. As the CEO, you will provide strategic leadership, ensure the company's operational structure is optimized, and drive profitability across all business units. You will oversee all aspects of the group's operations, including business development, property owner relations, finance, and property operations, with a focus on continued brand development across the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and direction to the organization, ensuring the company achieves its business objectives and meets shareholder expectations.
  • Develop and implement business strategies that drive profitability, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
  • Lead the senior management team and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across the organization.
  • Oversee the development of new properties, including the execution of the development process and managing upgrading projects for existing hotels and residences.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the UAE and the Middle East, ensuring the company remains competitive and relevant in the market.
  • Drive the company's brand expansion and further establish its presence across the Middle East.
  • Take full accountability for the financial performance of the company's properties, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee the management of property operations, ensuring that service standards meet the highest levels of luxury hospitality.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to monitor the company's performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience working in the UAE is required.
  • A proven track record of at least 10-15 years in senior executive roles, particularly in hotel operations and multi-unit businesses.
  • Experience in hotel operations, business development, and overseeing complex multi-location operations is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in managing business growth, financial performance, and brand development.
  • Exposure to global markets and development opportunities for hospitality and residential properties.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in business planning, budgeting, and investment strategies.
  • Knowledge of multi-brand concepts and an ability to manage diverse portfolios of properties.
  • Technologically savvy with a keen understanding of emerging trends and forecasting developments in the hospitality sector.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory.

  • A steady and stable employment history with significant leadership experience in high-level hospitality roles.
  • First-class people management and communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong negotiation skills, particularly in dealing with owners, stakeholders, and business partners.
  • A developer mentality with the ability to drive business expansion, market positioning, and long-term profitability.
