Home Care Nurse required for the patient in sharjah - Accommodation and food provided

Job Purpose:

To provide 24/7 care and assistance to patients in their homes, ensuring their well-being, comfort, and safety. The role involves supporting daily living activities, monitoring basic health conditions, and offering companionship. Accommodation is provided to ensure constant availability for patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: Assist patients with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming), support with mobility needs, including transfers, repositioning, and walking, and administer basic care under supervision or as instructed by healthcare professionals.
2. Monitoring: Observe and report significant changes in the patient’s condition to the family or supervisor and monitor basic health indicators like temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate.
3. Daily Living Assistance: Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required, ensure medications are taken on time as per instructions, and manage light housekeeping tasks related to patient care and maintain cleanliness in the patient’s living space.
4. Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage the patient in conversation or light activities to improve mental well-being.
5. Availability: Be present and accessible at all times to address patient needs promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Language: Fluent in Arabic; basic English proficiency is a plus.
2. Experience: Prior caregiving experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to undergo training is essential.
3. Skills: Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor; ability to handle physical tasks like lifting or supporting patients safely; good interpersonal and communication skills; high level of reliability and trustworthiness.

Requirements:

1. Female, Arabic nationality.
2. No professional nursing license required.
3. Willingness to reside full-time with the patient in the provided accommodation.
4. Flexible and adaptable to patient needs.

Work Conditions:

1. Accommodation provided in the patient’s home.
2. Meals included (or an allowance provided).
3. May require occasional assistance with nighttime care.
