Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Technical Director is responsible for the accuracy and reliability of all laboratory services provided by the departments under his/her supervision, which includes the following activities:

1. Direct training, development, and supervision of departmental personnel;
2. Plan and schedule all work processes of the departments;
3. Oversee the proper application of laboratory policies and procedures;
4. Operate the department(s) in a cost-effective manner.

The Technical Director is a key member of both the scientific and business team with knowledge of regulatory requirements and must support and enforce all company and accrediting agency policies, procedures, and standards.
