Helper - Warehouse

To load/unload goods to and from delivery vehicles; to maintain stores in good, clean order.

Responsibilities:

1. Loads and unloads goods onto and from delivery vehicles as required.
2. May assist in picking goods for consignments if product knowledge is sufficient.
3. Accompanies and assists Driver on deliveries.
4. Weighing and counting received items.
5. Assisting warehouse staff in retrieving specified merchandise from storage as per the delivery or shipping orders.
6. Ensuring that all merchandise is properly secured in the delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
7. Utilizing warehouse lift equipment to load and unload merchandise as well as move, lift, or stack merchandise as needed.
8. Organizing warehouse merchandise and stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines.
9. Performing all duties necessary to maintain warehouse cleanliness, which includes sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.
10. Complying with and implementing the local laws and client’s requirements related to QHSEMS aspects at the workplace, as per the bestowed authority and responsibility.
11. Carrying out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by line Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Qualifications & Education

• High school diploma in any stream.

2. Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office environment.

3. Knowledge & Skills

• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of using photocopy machines and other office equipment.
