Hedge Fund Analyst (Significant Family-Office Portfolio)
Join Rapid Global Growth (RGG), the innovative force behind Puffy - a Top 5 US mattress brand with remarkable 100% YoY growth since 2016. As part of our diversified operations, our sophisticated Dubai-based family office is seeking a motivated and autonomous Hedge Fund Analyst.
In this pivotal role, you will work directly with our Chief Investment Officer, who brings decades of hedge fund and investment banking expertise and gain invaluable experience across both operational and investment aspects of hedge fund strategies.
Responsibilities:
Conduct operational due diligence to support the Investment team, including assessments of hedge funds, service providers, banks, and other financial institutions.
Maintain and enhance regular reporting for specific investments and portfolios, ensuring the preparation of high-quality summary reports for Investment Committee review.
Create and maintain detailed investment memos while meticulously tracking Investment Committee decisions.
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including legal and accounting teams, to ensure seamless operational execution.
Contribute to ongoing process improvements to optimize workflows and reporting mechanisms.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational procedures and compliance requirements.
Conduct detailed risk assessments of potential and existing investments.
Perform comprehensive investment analysis of hedge fund strategies and market opportunities.
Required Skills:
Degree-level education in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in an analytical/quantitative role, preferably on the buy-side, major accounting firm, or internal audit team.
Demonstrated knowledge of hedge fund operations and investment markets.
Proven experience with due diligence processes and operational risk assessment.
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create and maintain complex financial models.
Outstanding analytical and reporting capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
Beneficial Skills:
Experience with Portfolio Management Systems.
Previous family office or private wealth management experience.
Professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, or similar).
