Position Purpose:
The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting business intelligence and strategic decision-making at Axios International. This position focuses on ensuring data integrity, building and optimizing data pipelines, and enabling data-driven processes across the organization.
The role holder will directly contribute to unlocking the full potential of Axios+, our digital ecosystem of web and mobile platforms, by leveraging expertise in Python and SQL to enhance data quality, streamline workflows, and deliver meaningful analytics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Query the main database to generate error reports and automate existing error reporting workflows for improved efficiency and data integrity.
- Perform data transformations in the main database to support new analyses and evolving requirements.
- Work closely with operational teams to refine analyses, operationalize findings, and integrate data-driven insights into workflows.
- Collaborate with the Research and Data Science team to understand data needs, support analysis, and translate requirements into analytical products.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data summaries using Power BI to support decision-making processes.
- Present technical work and complex findings in a clear, concise manner to non-technical audiences.
- Additional duties as required.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Attending and completing Pharmacovigilance, Pharma and Product Training provided by the Client with a clear understanding of how to collect and report safety data. (as required)
- Reporting any adverse events/product complaints as per client’s requirements and/or Axios SOPPs.
Relationships:
- Report to the Digital Health Manager with a dotted line to the Head of Research and Data Science.
- Develop good relations across all levels in Axios, as well as clients and key stakeholders. Interpersonal skills are critical to this position.
- Maintain ongoing and frequent communication with Project Team Leaders including Axios regional and global staff.
Job Circumstances:
- The position is based in our regional office.
- Flexibility in the ability to travel as well as working hours is essential.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Educational Background and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree level education in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
- 1-3 years professional experience in data analysis, data science or similar roles.
- At least 12 months European Data Analysis experience within healthcare or similar.
- Knowledge of BI tools.
- Native-level command of both spoken and written English.
- Strong proven proficiency in Python and SQL.
