Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on construction sites, promoting a safe work environment, and reducing risks for all employees and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
2. Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments in line with local and international standards.
3. Provide safety training and awareness programs for staff and workers on site.
4. Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses, ensuring corrective measures are implemented.
5. Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, and incidents.
6. Liaise with project managers and contractors to ensure safety requirements are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry as a Health & Safety Officer.
3. In-depth knowledge of UAE safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
4. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification is mandatory.
5. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide teams effectively.
6. Proficiency in report writing and documentation.

Additional Information:

1. Candidates must be based in the UAE and willing to work on construction sites in Abu Dhabi.
