Job Description

How does your working day look like …

1. Supervise, mentor, and train a team of therapists to deliver exceptional spa services.
2. Schedule, manage, and delegate work assignments for the therapy team.
3. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
4. Ensure that all therapists are up to date with industry trends and hotel protocols.
5. Deliver personalized treatments (e.g., massages, facials, body scrubs, etc.) in accordance with the guest's preferences and needs.
6. Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive and memorable spa experience.
7. Ensure the spa’s ambiance, cleanliness, and atmosphere reflect the luxury standards of a five-star hotel.
8. Be on time for appointments and thoroughly review appointments after completing each massage.
9. Maintain in-depth knowledge of spa services, products, and techniques.
10. Perform a variety of high-end treatments, ensuring guests' comfort and satisfaction.
11. Oversee the quality of treatments delivered by other therapists to ensure consistency in service standards.
12. Maintain an ample supply of products, oils, towels, sheets, and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage/face/body work area. Preparation of kits as required/needed.
13. Oversee the ordering, stock levels, and inventory of spa products.
14. Ensure the spa uses high-quality products and that the inventory is managed effectively.
15. Liaise with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability.
16. The ability to courteously interact and answer all facility related questions with members and guests.
17. Work closely with the Spa Manager/Director to improve spa offerings and performance.
18. Assist in achieving the spa’s financial and operational goals.
19. Contribute to marketing initiatives to promote the spa and its services to hotel guests.

Qualifications

Your personality counts more than your CV …

1. 3-5 years of experience in similar role of Senior Spa therapist, knowledge of local market, experience in hospitality.
2. Certified Degree in therapy education.
3. Extensive knowledge of spa treatments, products, and techniques.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
