Head Spa Therapist

How does your working day look like

• Supervise, mentor, and train a team of therapists to deliver exceptional spa services.
• Schedule, manage, and delegate work assignments for the therapy team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Ensure that all therapists are up to date with industry trends and hotel protocols.
• Deliver personalized treatments (e.g., massages, facials, body scrubs, etc.) in accordance with the guests' preferences and needs.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring a positive and memorable spa experience.
• Ensure the spa's ambiance, cleanliness, and atmosphere reflect the luxury standards of a five-star hotel.
• Be on time for appointments and thoroughly review appointments after completing each massage.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of spa services, products, and techniques.
• Perform a variety of high-end treatments, ensuring guests' comfort and satisfaction.
• Oversee the quality of treatments delivered by other therapists to ensure consistency in service standards.
• Maintain an ample supply of products, oils, towels, sheets, and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage/face/body work area. Preparation of kits as required/needed.
• Oversee the ordering, stock levels, and inventory of spa products.
• Ensure the spa uses high-quality products and that the inventory is managed effectively.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability.
• The ability to courteously interact and answer all facility-related questions with members and guests.
• Work closely with the Spa Manager/Director to improve spa offerings and performance.
• Assist in achieving the spa's financial and operational goals.
• Contribute to marketing initiatives to promote the spa and its services to hotel guests.

Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role of Senior Spa Therapist, knowledge of local market, experience in hospitality.
• Certified degree in therapy education.
• Extensive knowledge of spa treatments, products, and techniques.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
