Job Title: Head of Supply Chain

Job Purpose: The Head of Supply Chain oversees procurement, logistics, inventory management, and import/export control, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role focuses on optimizing operations, reducing costs, and aligning supply chain strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

1. Develop and implement a supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
2. Identify risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to mitigate and capitalize on them.
3. Ensure alignment between supply chain activities and company objectives.

Procurement & Supplier Management

1. Build and maintain a strong supplier network to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
2. Negotiate favorable contracts and monitor supplier performance.
3. Implement cost-saving initiatives and sourcing strategies.

Logistics & Inventory Control

1. Develop an efficient logistics strategy for timely delivery of goods.
2. Manage transportation, warehousing, and inventory levels to minimize costs and prevent shortages.
3. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.

Supply Chain Optimisation

1. Continuously improve processes for greater efficiency and cost reduction.
2. Leverage technology to enhance supply chain visibility and performance.
3. Integrate sustainability principles into supply chain operations.

Leadership & Team Management

1. Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
2. Recruit, train, and provide performance feedback to drive success.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Masters degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
2. 15+ years of experience in procurement and logistics.
3. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
4. Aviation industry experience preferred.
5. Proficiency in supply chain software and tools.
