Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales / Account Manager to drive business growth in the Middle East region, with a strong focus on Dubai. The ideal candidate has a background in modern trade buying or Key Account Management (KAM) within major FMCG multinationals (e.g., P&G, Unilever). This role requires expertise in non-food operations, margin management, and strategic account development to strengthen our presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and drive revenue growth in the Middle East.
  • Manage and nurture key accounts, building strong relationships with modern trade buyers, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure profitability by optimizing pricing, trade terms, and margin management.
  • Lead negotiations with key stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships and business sustainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure smooth operations and product availability.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for new product launches, promotional campaigns, and market entry strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging business opportunities in the Middle East.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, key account management, or modern trade buying within a leading FMCG company (P&G, Unilever, or similar MNCs preferred).
  • Strong experience in non-food operations and margin management.
  • Deep understanding of the Middle East retail landscape, particularly in Dubai.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as required.
