Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure annual definition of budgets working collaboratively with necessary stakeholders following HQ objectives and maximizing results from investments and available resources.
  2. Work with the Regional director and individual Managers to develop the regional strategy, in alignment with overall ambitions of the Company.
  3. Ensure the achievement of the business goals in terms of sales and KPIs of the managed territory and guarantee the achievement of sales plans and of cost budgets, improving manpower related cost efficiency.
  4. Build a strong network with local and/or country stakeholders in order to enhance new business opportunities.
  5. Develop the local market, identifying potential retail locations and opportunities for store development, negotiating terms and maintaining relationship with landlords.
  6. Work with ME&A Operations teams to deliver service in line with ECCO’s values and approach to premium quality Brand. Support, coach and develop store management to drive sales and meet key performance indicators, while managing expenses to increase profitability.
  7. Ensure, through mentoring and leadership of the sales team, strong succession planning through coaching and developing of existing staff and recruitment of external talent.
  8. Support to recruit, develop and deploy effectively the sales force that is working with up-to-date sales tools and training programs.
  9. Oversee business measurements: traffic, conversion, units per transaction, sell thru; sales vs. plan, gross margin, productivity per sq.ft. etc.
  10. Liaise with Operations to ensure efficient order taking and processing stocks to guarantee optimum inventory at stores.
  11. Visit the stores on a regular basis and identify areas for development. Create action plans for the Operations Team in terms of clear objectives, deliverables, timelines and follow ups.
  12. Enhance Brand Image through VM, merchandising, and sales staff grooming across the stores.
  13. Partner with key stakeholders in Regional Office and Group Head Office to ensure support to the needs of the Market.
  14. Monitor, report and adjust to the trends and risks of the footwear industry across ME&A.
  15. Maintain a positive attitude and provide leadership by example in line with ECCO’s values and leadership principles.
