Job Description

Projects Head will be responsible for timely completion of multiple Fit Out projects simultaneously throughout the UAE. In addition, support Operation Manager with managing other ongoing projects and projects at tender stage.

Duties:

1. Work with clients from concept design to occupancy.
2. Review design, interpret project scope and resolve various issues.
3. Represent company in all project meetings.
4. Ensure all required information, designs, and materials are made available in a timely manner to the construction team.
5. Ensure all documentation is in place and updated during each phase of the project and that the value of any proposed solution is maximized.
6. Plan & organize the execution teams, oversee contractors, suppliers, and other resources required for the project.
7. Negotiate prices with contractors & suppliers and various project stakeholders.
8. Ensure all local authority/landlord approvals and permits are obtained in a timely manner.
9. Plan and organize resources in advance for sites by daily preparation of labor schedules.
10. Exercise strong control over site activities and resources to track and ensure timely completion of projects within the budget and good quality workmanship.
11. Manage site managers and ensure Tool Box Talks, site safety inductions, and HSE are carried out.
12. Timely and accurately communicate project performance, issues/concerns, and risks through the required reporting mechanisms.
13. Coordinate on a regular basis with the Landlord/Tenant's Coordinators.
14. Review and process project invoices.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Degree in a relevant field - Preferably Civil Engineering.
2. 10-15+ years of Experience in UAE.
3. Capable of handling 40 plus project team including Project Manager, Engineers, and Supervisors.
4. Preferably with Retail, F&B Fit-Out experience.
5. Valid UAE D/L & Own Car.
6. Exceptional communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
